A rural location, almost a mile from the main Penzance to Land's End road, with no near
neighbours. A tranquil setting with starry nights, no light pollution and full of wildlife!
Situated in an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and because it's a peninsular,
never far from the sea.

Amenities

The coast line has some of the most stunning and dramatic views in Britain. Inland, 
especially in West Penwith, there is wild untamed beauty, characterised by outcrops of
granite, moorland, ancient stones, Bronze Age villages, Neolithic field systems and
deserted tin mines.
The National Trust owns large parts of the region, including Chapel Carn Brae,
only a mile away, the first hill in Britain!
By car, you can reach the town of Penzance (6 miles) in just 10 minutes and the
beautiful beach of Sennen Cove (2 1/2 miles) is 5 minutes away.

Other approximate journey times are - St Ives- 25 minutes, Land's End, Mousehole
and Newlyn-10 minutes, Truro City-40 minutes, Eden Project and Newquay-1hour.

Accommodation - Sleeps 2 +*2

Rissick is a grade 11 listed, 17th century former farmhouse, which originally 
had its own hamlet within its boundaries. Lower Rissick Cottage is a detached,
recently renovated barn, offering heated, one double bedroom accommodation.

The cottage is an attractive traditional granite building. 
Renovated in 2004 with reverse level living. Downstairs is the bedroom and shower room
fitted to the highest standards, whilst upstairs is the beamed open-plan lounge, dining
and fitted kitchen areas.There is also a sofa bed which sleeps *2 adults 
(please remember this room also includes the kitchen and stairs to the ground floor so
would not be suitable for young children).
*A fourth adult would attract an extra £50.00 per week to the stated tariff.

NB. The cottage includes electricity and heating within the price and this should
be taken into consideration when comparing prices.

Facilities and Services

Included - Electricity, all crockery, cooking and eating utensils, washing machine, kettle,
toaster, microwave, fridge, TV, electric coal fire, bedding (changed weekly) towels for 
cottage use, tea towels and cleaning materials. Also available, upon request, are travel cot 
and high chair.

Patio area, parking for 2 cars, 6 person Hot tub, private garden with seating
area.

You will need to provide - Holiday insurance, beach towels, food and drink.
